Doctor Bird

The Red-billed Streamertail, also known as the Doctor Bird, is a stunning species of hummingbird found only in Jamaica. Known for its iridescent feathers and long, flowing tail feathers on the males, it is considered a symbol of Jamaica and is featured on the country's currency. The Doctor Bird is also known for its unique ability to fly backwards, and its long, curved bill which is perfectly adapted for feeding on nectar from flowers.
