Scaly-Breasted Munia

The Scaly-breasted Munia, also known as the Spotted Munia or Nutmeg Mannikin, is a small, social bird that is not native to Jamaica or the Caribbean, but was introduced due to its attractive appearance. It has a distinctive scalloped pattern on its breast and belly, and a dark cap on its head. It feeds primarily on seeds and can often be seen in large flocks.
